Now, Nat Geo and the pet supply retail chain Petco want to offer some lucky person and a guest the chance to see the sanctuary first-hand and to help with that work at Dogtown.”
According to Meredith Conte, associate director of advertising sales and partnership marketing, at the National Geographic Channel, the sweepstakes gives viewers a chance to extend the show experience and actually participate in the work at the Sanctuary. Hopefully it will make some realize that adoption is a path to consider if they want a new pet.
Petcos across the country will be splashing the message all over their stores, giving much needed publicity to Best Friends. According to the website, “The stores will carry information about Best Friends and provide forms for store customers to become members of the organization, helping us spread our message and bring about a time of No More Homeless Pets.”

Wow, this is awesome. That would be a trip to remember for sURE!
I am so excited about entering. This would be a chance of a lifetime. I watch Dogtown every Friday, even the repeats sometimes. It is a great show and they do a fantastic job. Sooo dedicated. I volunteer for the AZ Humane Society, so I see first hand what it is like to see some of the horrific things that people do to dogs, or whatever has happened to them to get them to a shelter. And then to see them find a forever home is a beautiful thing. I HOPE I WIN THIS CONTEST.
I could not enter because it told me to pick a Provider but when you click the drop down list, nothing shows. Since I have fostered dogs, I would LOVE to win this. Can anyone help me solve this mystery?
Do they “edit” our reply’s? I had written other stuff in my comment and it did not appear. It was regarding one of the episode’s I had seen on Dogtown, nothing nasty or bad. If anyone can answer this question for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
