What House Dogs Must Remember…
We saw this over at Snoop, Alfie, Rosie and Gabbi’s blog (the Dughallmore Beagles!) and we thought it was so cute that we had to re-post it. Thanks guys!
Things House Beagles (okay, House Goldens in this case) Must Try To Remember….
- I will not do unmentionable things to my stuffies when we have company.
- I will not play tug-of-war with Dad’s underwear when he’s on the toilet.
- The bin man is NOT stealing our stuff.
- I do not need to suddenly stand straight up when I’m lying under the coffee table.
- I will not roll my toys behind the fridge.
- I must shake the muddy rainwater out of my fur BEFORE entering the house.
- I will not eat the cats’ food, before or after they eat it.
- I will stop trying to find the few remaining pieces of clean carpet in the house when I am about to throw up. I will also stop throwing up behind doors.
- I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc.
- I will not lick my human’s face after eating animal poop.
Cat litter is not food.
- I will not eat any more socks and then redeposit them in the garden or park after processing.
- I will not wake Mum up by sticking my cold, wet nose up her bottom end.
- I will not chew crayons or pens, especially not the red ones, or my people will think I am haemorrhaging.
- When in the car, I will not insist on having the window rolled down when it’s raining outside.
- We do not have a doorbell. I will not bark each time I hear one on TV. Neither do we have a police car, a lion or Alan Carr.
- I will not steal my Mum’s underwear and dance all over the garden with it.
- The sofa is not a face towel. Neither are Mum & Dad’s laps.
- My head does not belong in the fridge. Or the dishwasher.
-I will not bite the officer’s hand when he reaches in for Mum’s driver’s license and car registration.
- Stealing Ex-Lax from the medicine cabinet is not big and it’s not clever.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, this is hilarious! Appropriate for my boys too, especially the dishwasher part and the doorbell part. this is great!!

Oh man, I’m totally guilty of a few of those, but some of the…um…culinary choices made here are a little far out! I don’t think I’d lock licks with any chick eating out of a litter box!

Not many can wake up in fits of laughter but we do with our to Goldens,
Jessie she smart enough to make herself small and slip on to King size for a night sleep you don’t know she is there, Shadow to dumb.
Before bed now I have to hide wobbies or in the early morn Jessie wakes up brings it back to bed snorting with a teddy in her mouth, then its play time on our bed, umm its not 6.00am guys bugger just landed on my bladder time for wee walk.
Rules for Goldens don’t make me laugh with one look of those eyes you are done for,,
Wont change a thing,,, ah we do have manners taught for our 2 wait for food ok, sit, etc you have to or they will be like a vacuum around food suck and its gone..
I will not…I will not…but they do! lol Dogs, & ALL pets….you just gotta love them!! Even bunnies are adorable! This list is just TOO cute!
