This is a start! Thank you to all who voted and to all who write and encourage stricter laws for those who breed dogs. After seeing how these helpless animals are treated and then sold or shipped to pet stores to be sold makes me sick!All we can all continue to do is not purchase these pups from pet mills as well as pet stores as sad as it is if we do not buy and make those greedy people money then they cannot ruthlessly continue to torture and breed! Thank-you again to all who are helping solve this problem or at least get something close to humane treatment at these terrible facilities

I agree with Amy. This bill is imperfect but we’ll take it anyways. The original bill would have been ideal but hopefully this paves the way for other states to pass similar laws, states like Missouri and the state wehre I also live, Ohio.

This is awesome legislation but there are a few flaws! I am sure they will find vets to pay under the table. HOWEVER, at least now there is something that CAN be enforced before we had nothing. I really hope OHIO follows suit. I emailed every politician in OHIO I could find and asked them to pass a similar bill because the mills are just going to move into OHIO.

Paws crossed we get some laws here!
