We may or may not have prevailed in Ohio in this election, but we would have needed to raise at least $10 million to be competitive. Keep in mind that the option to pursue this campaign is preserved, as the signatures do not expire and can be used for subsequent elections. So there is a strong incentive for our opponents to uphold their end of the deal.
