More Prayers for Benson Needed…

Hi everyone.

You all remember a couple months back when  I posted about Benson having a medical condition called Lymphangiectasia, where his lymph nodes leak fluid. It’s caused his digestive tract and intestines some serious injury and Benny has taken a turn for the worse over the past few weeks. He’s dropped about 10 pounds, isn’t eating, has serious “stomach upset” (the D-word), and is overall just lethargic.

Please everyone say a prayer for Benson that he will pull out of this. He is supposed to go back to the vet next week to see what the options are. I’ll be honest though: It’s not looking good at this point…:(

      Please know we are praying for Benson.

      We just found out about 4 weeks ago that our 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier has the same disease. She spent about a week in the hospital and after surgery, it was determined it was lymphangiectasia.

      We have made several more trips to the vet and are aalso praying the med and TLC keep her going.

    Dear Benson,

    My kitty Oscar would love to meet you. He is the same color as you and he LOVES dogs. He used to have a sister named Maggie who looked just like you and they loved to cuddle. Maybe you can help each other because we are now going through scary times with Oscar too. Today we learned he has liver disease.

    Please pray for us and we’ll pray for you. You and Oscar give so much love and we want to make sure you suffer as little as possible as your bodies battle the invaders!
