This little guy is ready to pounce I think. He looks so serious: I love his facial expression!

As a longtime blog reader, I just had to post this email I got at my work for you fellow cat lovers:
Subject: Cat “FURminator”
New “FURminator” shedding tool for cats for sale…paid $39.00 , will sell for $25.00. Tried to use on our fluffy, psycho kitty but she’s a scratch and bite type. It works great, but not on mean cats!
I was just laughing and laughing at this. She clearly doesn’t have the kind of bonds with her cat as we cat lovers do! When I bought the FURminator back in ’98, my cat just loved it. Now that she’s hairless, we don’t really need it anymore, but you get my drift! CAT LOVERS UNITE!
I’m also a longtime reader (and lover) of this wonderful blog and the loyal master of just over 17 cats in the past year and a half. i currently have only 1, Mr. Butterworth (he LOVES syrup), but use the FURminator religously to keep him groom and to keep the other occupant of the Mr. B’s house (ME) from sneezing. Speaking of sneezing, $25 for a brand new FURminator is NOT an offer to sneeze at. Shasta should be snatching up such a purfect offer rather than belittling her colleague who obviously needs help raising her cat, not judgement.
FYI: the FURminator was created by Angie & David Porter in 2006 and just rcently received a patent in 2008. Ergo, there is no way the product Shasta is using on her cat is the real McCoy. you should check into that Shasta, as i don’t think u are doing your cat any good de-hairing your feline friend. Also, make sure you keep the protective guard on.
